My name is Myles Maxie. I was born in Southern California, growing up in Upland and Altadena, California. I was always involved in the community and  have always wanted that to be what my life was about. That is how I ended up pursuing my career in law. 

Before law school, I attended Middlebury College as a POSSE scholar. I further developed my love for writing, debate, and community engagement. My time there shaped my passion for justice and critical thinking, which continue to guide me now. I was heavily involved in student government, advocacy, and community engagement. I served as Co-Chair of the Community Council, where I worked with students, faculty, and administrators to shape campus policies. I also held multiple roles in the Student Government Association, including Student Senator and Chair of the Class of 2022 Committee, where I helped allocate a $1.3 million budget to student organizations. 

In addition to my student governance work, I co-founded and led Concerned Students of Middlebury, an organization dedicated to advocating for historically marginalized groups. Through this, I worked directly with senior college leadership to push for institutional change. I was also involved in the Middlebury College Activities Board, serving as its President, and working to plan a variety of major events. During undergrad, I also worked as a Student Organization Coordinator, supporting student leaders across campus, as a Student Employment Assistant where I worked to streamline processes for students to gain campus employment, and as a Sustainability Consultant where I collaborated with and advised campus offices to reduce our environmental footprint. 

These experiences made me excited for a lifetime of advocacy. I am now a rising 3L law student at UC Irvine School of Law, deeply engaged in my academic and professional journey. My studies and work have focused on employment law, family law, constitutional law, and contract drafting. I am committed to advocacy, leadership, and public service. I currently participate in Moot Court and Mock Trial, honing my litigation and appellate skills, while also advocating for clients in one of UCI's clinics and working to build the UCI commuity as an admissions ambassador. 

This website is an expression of my personal interests—of which there are many. I love traveling, music, art, writing, baking, and spending time at the beach. I also have a deep appreciation for storytelling, whether through film, literature, or casual conversation. When I’m not immersed in legal work, you can probably find me trying out a new dessert recipe, curating playlists, or planning my next travel adventure.
